Overview
DHS quietly purchased a 518,140-square-foot warehouse in Upper Bern Township near Hamburg, Pennsylvania, for about $87 million in early February 2026. Lehigh County's executive and state officials opposed the project and denied water and sewage service. ICE is appealing Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection limits on water and sewage use at this site and at Tremont.
