Overview
This is a second Romulus, Michigan, warehouse site considered by DHS, distinct from the purchased Cogswell Street property. As of February 2026 the building was owned by PropCo, LLC. City officials, state legislators, and U.S. Rep. Shri Thanedar opposed the site. Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel explored legal avenues to block ICE use of the property.
